I love that you get flashback missions not just cutscenes when something big happens like killing a high-rank enemy, giving you a backstory to the point of why your taking down this high rank masked one etc. Uplay client built games just run better on Uplay and steam users always complain about more bugs on the steam version. Using Uplay client to play the game not steam version. My Rig CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Clocked 4.2Ghz 8 Core RAM: 12GB Ram GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 TI SC 4GB GDDR5 SSD Drive OS + Hybrid Secondary Drives For Installed Games Visuals are amazing using the autoconfigured preset which was high for everything getting 50-65 FPS on high settings even during combat. My RigĬPU: AMD FX-8350 Played for a couple hours I have no issues at all, everything runs smooth for me and the game has not crashed. I hope you’re able to get past the supernatural pieces of it and still enjoy the DLC as a whole.Played for a couple hours I have no issues at all, everything runs smooth for me and the game has not crashed. However, as someone else already said, if Curse of the Pharaohs is too far out there for you, Atlantis definitely will be. The story is good, the Gods have personality, the new environments are amazing (I LOVED the Underworld) and you see some interesting character development in Layla. Now, I think The Fate of Atlantis is amazing.

I still enjoyed LFB, but this one moment tainted it for me. I don’t want to give spoilers but I was so mad when they made my Kassandra do something I had no interest in. But in one part of LFB they stripped that away, and I hated it. One of my favorite things about Odyssey was having some choice in who my character was. However, what I hated about LFB is that the DLC forces your character to do something that was not in line with the way that I played my character at all. I don’t think there are any new areas to explore if my memory serves correctly? The DLC just leverages the existing map. Much like The Hidden Ones DLC, it focuses on the origins of the Assassins organization itself and not just Kassandra/Alexios. Legacy of the First Blade is really interesting from a story perspective. Overall, I like Odyssey a lot more than Origins (bracing for downvotes) but I don’t know if you’ll be happy with the Odyssey DLC. Now, onto the 2nd DLC and last piece of Origins content, the Curse of the Pharaoh's. The focus on the birth of the Creed in Origins had been handled perfectly, simply well done. When I watched it in 2018, I had only seen the Guardians of the Galaxy movies beforehand, but even then, the ending made me emotional and nearly brought me to tears despite barely knowing anything about the MCU.Same feeling here, even tho I didn't play any of the old games where the Creed and Brotherhood played a key role and therefore barely know anything about the Creeds history, this sequence hit deep, and I would've easily had some tears running down my cheeks if I had played all the previous games, and then see the true birth of the Creed all these years after. I can find a good comparison to Avengers Infinity War. The inspiring and incredible dialogue, the heartbreaking 3rd end to Bayek and his relationship with Amunet, the shot with the sun on the horizon of the red sea, it was absolutely perfect. The final cut scenes in the main game already made me emotional, with Aya and Bayek at the beach, the logo reveal in the sand, the birth of the Creed, even tho I had only played Odyssey and Origins to that point, I really felt that moment, same for the ending to this DLC. Sinai was stunning, the side quests and general story were pretty good (especially the Kawab arc and twist at the end), the return of Amunet (for which I would've popped even harder if it didn't get spoiled on YouTube), the general cutscenes, the story twist at the end, it was all really good, but damn. Man, finished the main game a few days ago and played trough the 1st DLC over the weekend, and it was really, really good, nothing too long, but effective and enjoyable.
